After the festivities at the Walk, Chad, Megan, Adam and I went to Costco and grabbed a delicious lunch. I saw one of the students from my math class there, but he promptly avoided eye contact. :) I probably would have done the same if I were 10. Also, FYI for Costco-goers out there, only Costco members can make purchases now. So while you can bring a non-member friend with you, realize that you will be paying, so prepare ahead of time. It's not a really big deal, but we were caught off guard because we've never had them check before!
When we got home, Lavita and I drove to the east side of Mesa to pick up our free couch! Now we have 2 sturdy sofas (to be reupholstered) for the front room and the family room. It's nice to finally have enough room for everyone to sit!
Then we just relaxed for the rest of the day, playing Bananagrams (which I highly recommend) and watching the kids have fun with their toys. Oh, and leaving giant red marks on Lincoln's skin where he was laying on the printed part of the t-shirt. I really hope that washed off before church today! We finished off the day with a BYU football game against Texas, which we sadly lost. It is nice to be playing some new teams though.
I'm currently uploading the past 2 years' worth of videos from my video camera, so be prepared for a bunch of new posts in the next couple of weeks!
Shelf from Lavita (Thank you!)
New paint color: Champagne Gold
Our temporary drapes (though they compliment the space very well)
I hope everyone is having a nice weekend! We are proud to be Americans and are so grateful for all the sacrifices made for our freedoms this day.

It was a fun day! Can you make the videos public so I can watch? And yes, the ink washed off of Lincoln with just a baby wipe :)
