House Pictures!

As promised, here are a few pictures of the house in decent lighting.  I would have taken more of the other rooms, but my memory card is missing!  How that happened, I have no idea.  Anyway...

Megan and Chad were gracious enough to come over Friday and Saturday to help us finish up the flooring.   Take a gander.  It's gorgeous!

I bought these chairs at a garage sale last weekend for $3 a piece!  The fabric is still in sturdy shape, but one is faded terribly.  They'll need to be recovered eventually, but for $6, I couldn't pass them up!

 My other garage sale find, a $5 mirror already distressed and had mounting holes in the back that I didn't have to add myself! 

 I was too lazy to move the bedding before capturing the beauty of the floor, but it gives you an idea of how large the room is. 

 The beautiful hutch!  I just need to repaint the countertop and it will be set. 

 The new fridge and stove, life's necessities.  Don't those cabinets look great?  Thanks Lavita and Megan!

 Chad did an awesome job with the table saw to make sure the boards curved around every little corner.  You should have seen his work with the transition strip to one of the bedrooms...very impressive! 

 This room is now finished, and we barely made it with the materials we had!

Overall, it was worth it.  I love the look and I really enjoyed the company!  We're not sure which of the hundreds of projects are next, but we'll let you know.  I can't wait for Dad to come out in October and see the house (and bring me some stuff to fill it with)!
